ATSN.TV SPONSORS MARK KIDDIE TRIBUTE AT US OPEN!

(Santa Barbara, CA) – The American Trigger Sports Network (ATSN.TV) has partnered with the US OPEN to create a special shooting event honoring the late Mark Kiddie, who passed last year shortly after the US OPEN at Elk Creek. James B. Towle, host, said, "I wanted to do something special to celebrate our dear friend, Mark Kiddie." Towle and ATSN.tv coordinated with this years' US OPEN event host at The Willows Sporting Clays and Hunting Center at Harrah's Tunica and created the "Mark Kiddie Super Sporting Shoot for the Colors and the Cure". Proceeds from the shoot will be donated to a number of charities in honor of Kiddie and $10.00 of every entry fee will be donated to TEAM USA.

"Those who knew Mark, know the passion and commitment he had for the sport and for helping his fellow man", says Towle. "He always gave of himself and was a true gentleman.", he continues. "I know that my fellow Sporting Clay shooters will support this stellar event and I hope we can continue to celebrate Mark at future US OPEN events."

The Willows Sporting Clays and Hunting Center at Harrah's Tunica, 13615 Old Hwy. 61 N. Robinsonville, MS will host the event starting June 1, 2010. The "Mark Kiddie Super Sporting Shoot for the Colors and the Cure" event will take place Saturday and Sunday, June 5 and 6th, with 50 targets shot over the two days. Shooters will earn their All-American points in this event.

About ATSN

NOTE: ATSN was born from the already popular national Radio broadcast, "Trigger Sports Radio", hosted by James B. Towle. Towle wanted to bring the world of Trigger Sports to a whole new level by introducing video clips and LIVE coverage from shooting events, plus NRA updates from Headquarters, Hunting Reports and expert guests on Trigger Sports LIVE! an internet television weekly show. From there, Towle expanded by introducing Trigger Sports TV via DirecTV and Dish Network on the Pursuit Channel. Traveling across the USA, Towle and the ATSN film crew taped competitions and training events in all shooting discipline. Soon after, Towle realized that gun owners needed information on the responsibility of personal self-defense and gun handling beyond the shooting range, and Stop the Threat was born. Each week a panel of law enforcement experts discuss the re-enactment of true crime incidents that have occurred throughout the US and offer the audience sound information to better protect themselves and their loved ones. Towle often asks the viewers to consider "when to shoot or when to retreat". ATSN continues to be the leader in your trigger sports, and personal defense tactics and education.

Mission Statement

"To discuss the safe and responsible ownership of guns as a family sport and an American Tradition".
