American Trigger Sports Network (ATSN) was honored by the Silver Telly Council as amongst the very best in local, regional, cable television commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions, and work created for the web.

American Trigger Sports Network Television (ATSN) is joining the Pursuit Channel program line-up, airing every Thursday night, beginning June 30, 2011 at 8 PM (PST).

ATSN is adding trigger sports to the Pursuit Channel viewership of active shooters, hunters and outdoorsmen. ATSN selected the channel to present its show partly because Pursuit Channel executives understand shooting sports and their audience has a passion for all aspects of gun ownership.

The 35 million household subscribers on the basic tiers of both DirecTV (Channel 608 PRST) and the Dish Network (Channel 240 HUNT) and 5 million cable households, will have access to ATSN TV’s award-winning trigger sports productions. At present, negotiations are being made with other major cable networks to further grow distribution.

The season begins with ATSN TV exclusive programming in a half-hour, 13-Episode series airing in the 3rd quarter of 2011 and moving to an hour time slot in 2012 during the Pursuit Channel’s exclusive “Shooting Show Destination Night”, featuring a block of shows tailored for shooting sports fans.

ATSN was born from the already popular radio series Trigger Sports Radio, hosted by James B. Towle. Towle wanted to bring the world of trigger sports to a whole new level by introducing a tv show with exclusive coverage of shooting events around the country on ATSN.tv’s Trigger Sports LIVE! weekly broadcast. Now coming to satellite and national cable television, ATSN will bring exclusive coverage and unique programming covering a variety of subjects including NRA updates, 2nd Amendment rights debates, special guests, shooter profiles, interviews with top guns, breaking news, hunt reports, shooting events in rifle, pistol, shotgun, archery and more!

ATSN.tv will continue with online programming featuring Trigger Sports LIVE! every Wednesday at Noon (PST) or “On Your Computer 24/7, When YOU Want to See It!” at www.atsn.tv.

About ATSN

NOTE: ATSN was born from the already popular national Radio broadcast, "Trigger Sports Radio", hosted by James B. Towle. Towle wanted to bring the world of Trigger Sports to a whole new level by introducing video clips and LIVE coverage from shooting events, plus NRA updates from Headquarters, Hunting Reports and expert guests on Trigger Sports LIVE! an internet television weekly show. From there, Towle expanded by introducing Trigger Sports TV via DirecTV and Dish Network on the Pursuit Channel. Traveling across the USA, Towle and the ATSN film crew taped competitions and training events in all shooting discipline. Soon after, Towle realized that gun owners needed information on the responsibility of personal self-defense and gun handling beyond the shooting range, and Stop the Threat was born. Each week a panel of law enforcement experts discuss the re-enactment of true crime incidents that have occurred throughout the US and offer the audience sound information to better protect themselves and their loved ones. Towle often asks the viewers to consider "when to shoot or when to retreat". ATSN continues to be the leader in your trigger sports, and personal defense tactics and education.

Mission Statement

"To discuss the safe and responsible ownership of guns as a family sport and an American Tradition".
